Int’l Workers Day: Minister Reiterates Commitment To Creating Safe Spaces, Inclusivity

News Investigators/ Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Minister of Women Affairs, has reiterated her commitment to fostering inclusivity and promoting safe work spaces.

Mrs Sulaiman-Ibrahim made this known in a statement signed by Mr Jonathan Eze, her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity on the occasion of the 2025 International Workers’ Day.

The minister, while commending the dedication and resilience of Nigerian workers, described them as the engine of national development.

She noted their vital roles in healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, and public service.

“Your tireless efforts have built a stronger, more resilient Nigeria. From healthcare and education to entrepreneurship and public service, your work has improved lives and shaped our nation’s future.

“To our ministry’s workers, I commend your passion and dedication to promoting women’s empowerment and protecting their rights. Your work has made a lasting impact on Nigerian women and girls.

” In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting workers’ welfare, promoting safe working conditions, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

“Together, we can build a brighter future for all Nigerians,” she said.

She reiterated the commitment of the ministry to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, which prioritises workers’ welfare, safe working environments, and inclusive growth.

She expressed optimism that with continued collaboration, a brighter and more equitable future could be achieved for all Nigerians.

Mrs Sulaiman-Ibrahim wished workers nationwide good health, happiness, and success in all endeavours.
