By Nuel Suji – President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed former Commissioner of Information and Communications in Rivers, Ibim Semenitari, acting Managing Director, of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Mrs Semenitari was named as replacement following the sack of Dan Abia.
Although, no reason was offered for the removal of Abia, News Investigators learnt, it was not unconnected with allegations of huge corruption at NDDC.
Mrs. Semenitari, a journalist and publisher, served as Commissioner in Rivers State under the administration of Governor Rotimi Amaechi.
She also served in the Communications Directorate of the Buhari Presidential
Campaign Organisation.
She is married with four children.
