Gunmen have abducted a popular native doctor in Oba community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra’ State.
The native doctor who is popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki was kidnapped at his hotel in Oba community on Sunday night.
It was gathered that the man who is regarded to be among the strongest witch doctors in Anambra was kidnapped with so much ease in his hotel, Triple P Hotel.
Two of his personal aides were also shot dead in the process.
Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki is also regarded as the richest witch doctor in Anambra.
He had in 2022 built and launched two hotels, regarded as the biggest in Oba.
Source disclosed that: “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki n’Oba has been Kidnapped last night in his Triple P Hotel.”
He added that, “Two of his security men were shot dead. Where are Nwa Ocha and Odeshi?”
The ease of the man’s abduction has raised question mark on his rumoured strength.
This is as many people are reported to flock his mansion in Oba for anti-bullet charms and other money rituals.
He has also boasted severally about how powerful he was.
Meanwhile, the Police have confirmed the kidnap of the native doctor.
Spokesperson of the State Command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said the incident happened around 11:30pm on Sunday.
“CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives to go after his abductors and ensure his release.” He said
