By Dipo Awojobi – The Bola Tinubu Ambassadors (BTA) has insisted that the Plateau State Governor who is also the Chairman Ondo State APC campaign committee must tender an unreserved public apology to its principal, mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his followers over the claim that Tinubu’s absence at last Saturday Ondo State APC Governorship Rally was as a result of his ill-health.

In a statement released in Lagos by the Group Director and National Leader, Oluomo Akanbi A. S Afonja, BTA said that the claim by Mr Lalong was no doubt a political propaganda to downgrade Bola Tinubu and his genuine followers.

Part of the statement reads: “How can a sitting APC Governor just walk down to the press only to speak about what he is not certain or sure of. It is absolutely a huge disappointment to himself, the people of the state he is governing, the APC Governors’ Forum and the APC Ondo State Governorship Candidate also.

“We expect Mr Lalong to have reached out to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or any of his aides  for proper confirmation on why he was absent at the rally instead of making a very wrong, disappointing, disgraceful and such a ridiculous statement publicly.

“We understand their many negative wishes for Tinubu, but so sad, just few has realised he is a God-sent,” they said.

BTA then warned Lalong to stop wishing Tinubu bad, adding that he is created already and nothing on this earth can un-create him except the Almighty God.

They however, urged Lalong to tender and unreserved public apology to Tinubu, his family and genuine followers.

“While awaiting Mr Lalong’s apology, we  however re-assure the lovers of Bola Tinubu lovers and believers all over the world that Tinubu is healthy, sound, strong and energetic. Very soon, we all shall welcome him joyfully back home,” they said.
