Gov Inuwa Parleys Bulgarian Envoy On Investment Opportunities In Gombe

News Investigators/ Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has parleyed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Nigeria, Yanko Yordanov, on the need to explore the business environment in the state for mutual benefits.

A statement by Director General (Press Affairs) Gombe Government House, Ismaila Una Misilli said, the Envoy, in company of other Bulgarian diplomats, held talks with Governor Inuwa at the Gombe Governor’s lodge, Asokoro, Abuja where they exchanged views on ways to ride on the excellent Bulgaria-Nigeria bilateral ties to explore areas of mutual interest in trade, industry, agriculture among others in Gombe State.

Mr Inuwa has been basking on Gombe’s reining position as the number one in the ease of doing business in Nigeria to woo investors and partners to take advantage of the conducive environment, incentives, facilities and opportunities provided by his administration to drive sustainable development.

Recall that recently, Governor Inuwa hosted the maiden Gombe Investment Summit, tagged ‘GoInvest 2022’ with the theme: Industrialization, the pathway to Innovation, Transformation and Development of Gombe State,”where he reeled out numerous economic potentials of the state.

The Governor was quoted as saying, during the summit, that ” our position is boosted by Gombe’s strategic location at the center of the north-east subregion and proximity to neighboring countries around the Lake Chad basin, enterprising and peace-loving population, unity in diversity, comparative advantage in agriculture, commerce, and abundance of natural resource like limestone, gypsum, uranium, coal, crude oil, kaolin, etc. Gombe also boast of great potentials in irrigation and hydropower generation through the Dadin Kowa, Balanga and Cham dams”.
