By Tom Garba, Yola – A grassroot politician and a youth leader in Adamawa, Comrade Obadiah Ezekiel has accused Governor Muhammadu Bindow of deceiving the people of Adamawa state with on sundry issues bedevilling the state.
Mr Ezekiel who is an organising secretary of People’s Democratic party (PDP) of Mayo Belwa LGA of Adamawa state exposed many areas that the governor was weight and found wanting.
According to him all the roads contracts awarded in within the state capital is full of questions without answers.
” How can a road Like that of Faro junction to Jimeta Park, as is widely revealed to have consumed money in hundreds of millions? I want to believe the Man is just deceiving us with contracts of roads while diverting our money”. Obadiah lamented
“You can also imagine how our primary school teachers has been living on frustration without payment of their salaries of over two months,leading them to be peacefully demonstrating in the streets of Jimeta, is a disgrace in the part of our Governor and the people of the state”.
“Look at how virement loan was spend,no proper accountability of the said loan was given to us. In fact I’m already tired of the seven months of our Governor.
“For goodness sake imagine the recent budget break down where an office of the state secretary was budgeted with over seven Billion Naira and other important ministry that has direct bearing with people consider to be down trodden,but because of not having good intention of our people only small amount money was budgeted. What is there in the office of the SSG that a whooping amount in Billions be allocated to that office, pls Adamawa state people need more explaination ” He added
The grassroot PDP Man while responding to questions by our correspondent in Yola suggesting to the Governor to have a cabinets restructuring and empowering them properly to touch the lives of people in the grass roots.
He also queried the anti graft crusade going on in the country to be loop sided against PDP, complaining that the arrest of Oliseh Metuh and Jafaru Isa is a clear pointer of informing us in PDP is selfish.
“Metuh is still on arrest but Jafaru is arrested and granted a bail because is an APC Man, but I pray the right will come down to my state and I know it will end up wading off all the APC people”.
