By Sadiq Umar – The federal government has released the names of the 21 Chibok school girls released by Boko Haram terrorist on Thursday.
The girls were among the over 276 students abducted by Boko Haram in April 14, 2014. It is the first time the government has successfully accomplished a negotiated freedom for the kidnapped girls.
Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, released the names late Thursday after the girls met with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the State House in Abuja.
The names as released by the government are:

- Lugwa Sanda
- Comfort Habila
- Maryam Basheer
- Comfort Amos
- Glory Mainta
- Saratu Emannuel
- Deborah Ja’afaru
- Rahab Ibrahim
- Helen Musa
- Maryamu Lawan
- Rebecca Ibrahim
- Asabe Goni
- Deborah Andrawus
- Agnes Gapani
- Saratu Markus
- Glory Dama
- Pindah Nuhu
- Rebecca Mallam
