Alaba Ajibade/ The Governor of Ekiti State, ADO-EKITI/Kayode Fayemi has honoured the father of the young man who sneaked into Ado -Ekiti from Lagos, Femi Adeoye as Covid-19 ambassador.

Mr. Adeoye was honored on Thursday as a patriot who exposed the danger of his son to the generality of the state in the overall interest of the state.

The retired civil servant denied his son access home but instead dragged him before Covid-19 officials in Ado-Ekiti having sneaked into the state against his instruction despite the lockdown in Lagos where there is prevalent of the Covid-19 disease.

The video in which Mr. Adeoye denied his son access to his house but instead insisted on being quarantine trended well last Tuesday.

The video believed to have been recorded and leaked by state official attracted condemnation and praise for the father of the boy.

The governor has since suspended one of his aides for the irresponsible manner Mr. Adeoye was subjected to by the official when he reported his son.

Mr. Adeoye, by the recognition of Mr. Fayemi would officially represent the state in propagating information about the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
