News Investigators/ Fans of legendary Nollywood actress, Joke Silva have continued to celebrate her with goodwill messages as she turned 64.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fans on Monday flooded social media platforms with glowing tributes and felicitations for the veteran thespian.
The sexagenarian had earlier in a post on her verified Instagram page @Ajokesilva, congratulated herself for the milestone.
She wrote: “Grateful Lord for your Mercy, your Faithfulness, for protection, for Provision, for Family for Friends for Colleagues, thank you King of Glory for 64 amazing years.”
In a swift reaction to the post, fans, admirers and colleagues of the actress continued to celebrate the screen diva with prayers and best wishes.

NAN reports that Joke Silva, born on Sept. 29, 1961 in Lagos State, had her major acting role in 1998, starring opposite Colin Firth and Nia Long in the British-Canadian film “The Secret Laughter of Women”.
Silva has starred in numerous films and television series in both the English and Yoruba languages, and one of her earliest roles was in the 1990 English television series “Mind Bending.”
She has received numerous nominations and recognitions for her craft, and in 2006, she clinched the “Best Actress in a Leading Role” award at the Africa Movie Academy Award.
In October 2012, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime appointed Silva goodwill ambassador, and she received national honour, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2014.
