The Emir of Gusau, Kabir Danbaba, is dead.
The traditional ruler died on Thursday at the age of 91, in Gusau Zamfara State capital, North Western Nigeria after a brief illness.
State Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Magaji, confirmed the demise of the paramount ruler.
