The two Chambers of the House of Representatives and Senate yesterday suspended its sitting in honour of the late Raphael Nomiye who died last weekend in his Gwarimpa residence in Abuja.
A condolence register has been opened for the late parliamentarian at the lobby of the National Assembly.
NewsInvestigatorsng exclusively reported on Sunday that the late Nomiye died during a bout of sex with a female banker who was said to be his accounting officer. The sudden death of the federal lawmaker is still a subject of police investigation as the female banker was in police custody.
Sources privy to the latest report said Nomiye’s autopsy revealed that he died of complication arising from the effect of the use of viagra.
The news of his death was a subject of discussion at National Assembly on Tuesday as people gathered in group to talk about the unfortunate incident at the resumed plenary sitting was later suspended.
