Former governor of Imo state, Mr. Achike Udenwa, has challenged the seven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aggrieved governors to return to the ruling party in the interest of peace, or come over to All Progressive Change APC.

Udenwa, who also served as Minister of Industry during president Olusegun Obansanjo’s administration, argued that the rebel governors may not realize their dream in the party under the present condition should they insist on remaining in PDP.

“As far as they are concerned, they believe they still have a stake in the PDP and so they want to continue to struggle, but I will advise them to come to the APC, because I know they will find more room in APC than in PDP,” he said

He therefore, advised them to seek alternative platform if they are really interested in actualising their respective political ambitions.

The former governor who spoke on Monday in Owerri during a meeting of APC urged the aggrieved PDP governors to stop wasting their time in PDP stressing that the time has come for them to pitch their tent with the All Progressive Congress (APC).

“In APC, there is room for everyone, there is room to accommodate all forms of ambition, in APC nothing is sacrosanct, and they will be accommodated.” Udenwa stressed.
