Commonwealth Scholars Association Congratulates Gambari

News Investigators/ The Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association, Nigeria (COSFAN), has congratulated its patron, Ibrahim Gambari, on his new appointment as Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement issued by its President on Wednesday, Abiola Adimula, described the new CoS as dynamic, highly intelligent, a leader par excellence, an accomplished diplomat and a seasoned administrator.

Adimula stated that Gambari has contributed immensely to national development and has displayed impressive and commendable representation of the country at the global community.

“Prof Ibrahim Gambari, the new Chief of Staff is dynamic, highly intelligent, leader par excellence, an accomplished Diplomat and a seasoned administrator.

“He has contributed immensely to national development with impressive and commendable representation of the country at the global community,’’Adimula said.

According to the statement, the Chairman of COSFAN Board of Trustees, Olugbemiro Jegede, a professor, also described the appointment of Gambari as `the right peg in the right hole’.

Also COSFAN Advisers, Prof. Michael Omolewa, former Nigeria Representative to UNESCO, and Prof. Comfort Ekpo, former Vice Chancellor of University of Uyo, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment.

They affirm that it is a well-deserved appointment that should move the nation forward, based on the impressive antecedents of the new CoS. (NAN)
