By Nuel Suji -The Nigerian Police on Thursday returned the Senate Mace brazenly stolen by hoodlums to the National Assembly complex.
The Mace was brought in black patrol van by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Joseph Habilah, who handed it to the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori.
The lawmakers were in secret meeting when the Mace arrived the National Assembly complex.
The legislators had urged the Police in its resolution, Wednesday, to find and return the stolen Mace to the National Assembly within 24 hours.
