By Sadiq Umar, Abuja – Report just reaching us indicates that the much awaited list of ministerial nominees for the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been brought to the senate.
Presidential Liaison officer to the senate, Ita Enang arrived the National Assembly at about 5:50 p.m Wednesday in company of the Chief of Staff to the President.
Buhari had failed to transmit the list to the senate before the close of plenary today as earlier expected.
The development has elicited different reactions among Nigerians especially against the backdrop of earlier promise by Buhari to constitute his cabinet latest September.
Procedurally, the list will be submitted through the Clerk to the National Assembly for onward transmission to the office of the President of the Senate.
The correspondence would then be read by the President of the Senate in plenary to senators.
