By Tom Garba,Yola – A bomb blast has just occurred in the Jimeta Division of the Nigerian Police in Yola, Adamawa state.
Our correspondent who was at the scene of the incident reports that the incident occurred at about 10:15 a.m and some policemen on guard were affected with various degree of injuries.
The bomb which was believed to be one of IED’s recovered from a Boko Haram suspect and kept under the custody of the police armory division of the station.
The station which is strategically located within the main heart of Jimeta, the administrative headquarters of Adamawa state, is located close to a central primary school, Nigerian prisons, NITEL and Jimeta old Market.
