News Investigators/ The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has reiterated its commitment to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda through the promotion of transparency, efficiency, value for money and accountability in public procurement.
The Director-General of the BPP, Adebowale Adedokun, stated this in a Democracy Day goodwill message to President Bola Tinubu on Friday in Abuja.
Mr Adedokun said the bureau would continue to strengthen public procurement systems to ensure that public resources are effectively utilised for the benefit of Nigerians.
“As the regulatory authority for public procurement, the BPP remains committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We will continue to promote transparency, efficiency, value for money and accountability in public procurement to ensure that public resources deliver maximum benefit to Nigerians”.
He congratulated the President on the occasion of Democracy Day 2026, describing it as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s democratic journey and the progress made in strengthening democratic institutions.
He commended Tinubu’s commitment to good governance, institutional reforms and sustainable national development, noting that the administration’s policies had renewed confidence in the country’s future.
“Under your leadership, Nigeria continues to pursue bold reforms that enhance transparency, accountability and economic growth.
“Your administration’s focus on institutional strengthening and public sector transformation has renewed confidence in the nation’s future,” he said.
Mr Adedokun reaffirmed the bureau’s support for the administration and pledged continued collaboration towards building a prosperous, inclusive and resilient nation.
He prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, strength and good health for the President as he continues to lead the country.
