Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday had their long awaited reconciliation meeting in London.
Although both parties were silent about the agenda of the meeting, there are bold indications that the meeting focused on the reconciliation of the top members of the party.
Atiku and Wike have been embroiled in a disagreement over the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party primaries and also the choice of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the running mate to the party’s candidate.
Also present at the meeting were Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
The Network investigation revealed that the conflict between the Atiku and Wike has badly divided the Governors of the PDP.
