ATIKU CALLS FOR CALM AS POST-PDP PRIMARY CRISIS DEEPENS

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Thursday called for calm and peace as post-primary election crisis of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, deepens.

Atiku said actions are being taken to address the grievances of party members.

The PDP Presidential candidate took to his verified Twitter handle and made series of tweets stating that every one in the party is cherished and loved.

He said he has respect for all the party members, including governors.

He said that “are much loved and respected” by him.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will remain united, focused in our actions. We are taking action to address the feelings of all party members

“The unity in our community is my priority. Our resolve to unify Nigeria starts in our party and moves to the community, then on to society.

“Every Governor, Legislator, and other elected officials produced by our party, and party members and loyalists, are much loved and respected by me.

“When they speak, I listen. I do not only listen. Appropriate actions have been taken, are being taken, and will continue to be advanced.” Atiku’s twitte reads.

According to Atiku, reconciliatory efforts are in progress, adding that he had heard the concerns of party members.
