APC CRISIS WORSENS AS NIGER GOVERNOR PRESIDES OVER APC MEETING AS NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, “IN ACTING CAPACITY.” 

The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress took a new turn on Monday with the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello, presiding over the party’s meeting at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.


Photographs of Governor Bello presiding over an ongoing meeting of the APC have ignite more confusion about the leadership of the party. 


Bello also parked his car on the spot for the CECPC National Chairman.
The APC had denied the speculations in the Media that the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Chairman, Governor Mai Mala Buni has been removed.

The National Secretary of the CECPC, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe who described the reports of Buni’s removal  as fake in a statement on Monday.
He described the reports  in the media stating that the President ordered the removal of Buni and replaced him with the Governor of Niger State, Sani Bello as fake news.
The statement was titled, “FAKE NEWS: No Leadership Change in APC CECPC” 
A source who spoke to The Network said that Bello, a member of the CECPC presided over the meeting in acting capacity because the NationalBuni was indisposed.
