By News Investigators – Tragedy struck again in Chibok over the weekend following the death of one of the parents of the school girls in a ghastly motor accident.

The parents of the freed schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram in 2014 were on their way to Yola, Adamawa state on a routine visit to see the girls when the auto crash occurred.

The vehicle conveying the parents was said to have collided with a stationary truck packed by the side of the road.

The parent that died was identified as Yakubu Yarima while many of others sustained serious injuries, some broken hands and legs.

“It is a sad moment for us, says Bishop Danja, a clergy who recently organized intercessory prayers for Chibok town. They always travel every month to see them where they are,” he added.

The clergyman described the incident as spiritual attacks on the Christian communities in the north, adding that the Boko Haram insurgency part of devil’s agenda against region.

He urged Nigerians to continue to pray for peace especially in the north.
