Barely one month after a Liberian national, Patrick Sawyer imported the deadly Ebola disease into Nigeria, another Liberian citizen has been reportedly diagnosed with the killer disease in Lagos.
A Senior Registrar with Igbobi Orthopaedic hospital, Lagos, Dr Akindele Akintayo made this known today while speaking during a Television programme in Lagos.
Dr. Akintayo revealed that the Liberian is currently in the Lagos Isolation center.
The doctor however could not confirm if the newly Ebola virus carrier had contacts with late Patrick Sawyer or not.
Liberia is one of the West African countries that has witnessed a high spread of the Ebola virus disease with hundreds of death reported.
