Anambra CP Wants Recovered, Accidented Vehicles’ Owners To Reclaim Them 

The Anambra State Police Command  has advised all concerned owners of accidented and recovered vehicles in the Command Headquarters to come with a valid proof of ownership and proper means of identification to reclaim them.
The State Police Commissioner, Echeng Eworo Echeng, made this known through the Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, in a statement in Awka on Friday.
“Following the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, order on the immediate evacuation of all recovered/impounded, accidented and unregistered exhibit vehicles from Police Stations nationwide, the Commissioner of Police has today, March11, 2022, urged the general public, especially, Anambra people to come to the Command Headquarters to claim their recovered and accidented vehicles. 
“The order is predicated on the incessant embarrassing and unprofessional manner in which these vehicles are stacked within police facilities causing nuisance and disgusting sight at Police Stations.
“It is also part of efforts being put in place by the IGP’s administration to ensure conducive working environment for its personnel in order to set in motion such required strategies to combat crime and criminality in the country,” Echeng said.
He, however, advised all concerned members of the public to come for the recovery and claims of their vehicles, with valid proof of ownership and proper means of identification.
