For the umpteenth time, the city of Potiskum, Yobe state was attacked by suicide bomber on Sunday killing six persons and scores injured.
The blast occurred around 1:20pm in front of the residence of the Peoples’ Democratic Party candidate for the Potiskum/Nangere Federal constituency in of the State, Sabo Garbu, a location very close to the Federal Government College in the town.
The suicide bomber was reported to have detonated the explosive immediately after arriving the premises of the politician.
Potiskum has been attacked severally by Boko Haram, leaving death and destruction.
It would be recalled over 50 students of a government Secondary school in the town, were killed mid-November, 2014 when a suicide bomber disguised and stormed the school’s assembly on a Monday morning.
