Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe, Wife, Others Billed to Watch US Super Bowl in Nevada, Las Vegas, on Sunday – Source

Strong indications have emerged that the Access Holdings CEO, Mr Herbert Wigwe, Wife, son and three others were billed to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, in Las Vegas when he died in a ‘copter crash in Las Vegas.

The Super Bowl, in the U.S. professional football, is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), played by the winners of the league’s American Football Conference and National Football Conference each January or February.

The 2024 Super Bowl LVIII described as the most anticipated in recent history will feature the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Super Bowl will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, Las Vegas, on February 11, 2024

The Network gathered that the lowest ticket per seat at the venue of the Super Bowl is eight thousand Dollars.

US sources told the Network that top fans of American football are heading in large numbers to watch the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday.

The helicopter, an EC 130, which was carrying Mr Wigwe and the five others was on its way to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.

There are reports those onboard the aircraft included Wigwe’s wife and son and the group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group) Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

Wigwe, an accomplished Nigerian banker and entrepreneur was the proprietor of Herbert Wigwe University, Isiokpo, Rivers State.

He won the African Banker of the Year at the 2021 edition of the African Banker Awards.
