News Investigators/ Yusuf Buhari, son of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed confidence that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
Mr Buhari, the APC candidate for the Daura/Sandamu/Mai’Adua Federal Constituency, stated this on Monday shortly after casting his vote during the party’s senatorial primary election held in Daura.
He said he attended the exercise to support the party’s senatorial aspirant, Nasir Yahya, while commending the turnout of party supporters and the orderly conduct of the exercise.
“I’m here to show my support for the APC candidate, for the senatorial seat. I’m really encouraged by the crowd of supporters that I’ve seen.
“Everything is going in order, Alhamdulillah,” he said.
Yusuf described his emergence as a blessing, expressing optimism over the chances of APC candidates in future elections.
Commenting on the prospects of the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections, Yusuf maintained that Katsina State remained a stronghold of the APC.
“This is the home of APC, so everything will go in order, Insha Allah,” he added.
He also appreciated party supporters for their loyalty and continued support for the APC.
“I want to say to the voters of APC, thank you for your support, Alhamdulillah,” Yusuf said.
