2023: Peter Obi Needs No Tribal Advice, Ohanaeze Youth Blasts PDP Chieftain, Ulasi

….Says Obi’s Project has grown beyond tribal sentiments

By Kamsi Anayo, Awka

The national leadership of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) under the leadership of Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka has described a recent television interview by Chief Dan Ulasi, former PDP Chairman as an attempt geared towards gaining stomach infrastructure.

Igboayaka who chided the
PDP Chieftain, reiterated that Obi’s presidential project had grown far beyond tribal sentiments.

This is sequel to Ulasi’s live TV interview, where he argued that Mr. Peter Obi was not companied by any of the prominent politicians from the South-east region, in the course of his political consultations in the Northern, Southwest and South-South regions.

Reacting to Ulasi’s statement, in Awka, Anambra State’s capital, on Wednesday, Igboayaka urged Ulasi to refrain from what he described as “the political elitism” and embrace the new political trend in Nigeria.

Igboayaka who regretted that the leaders of the nation had, over the years, mortgaged the future Nigerian youths and Nigerians, in general, informed Ulasi that Obi’s presidential project “is above tribal connotation.

He warned Ulasi to steer clear from the project with “his tribal advice”.

“It’s obvious that Obi’s presidential project has grown above tribal sentiment or clannish projection. Obi doesn’t need the same Igbo political elders like Ulasi who have eaten the future of Igbo youths to move with him on political consultation, neither does he need to ride on the same old political permutation to win the President of Nigeria”, Igboayaka said.

The youth leader advised Ulasi to rather redirect his quest for a job to the PDP’s presidential candidate and allow God perfect His plans through Obi.

He stressed that the Labour Party Candidate’s project is being motivated by the teaming unemployed youths across the streets of Nigeria.

“2023 presidential project of Obi is solely tied to the future of the new generation. Hence Obi’s presidential project is driven by unemployed Nigerian youths, that have graduated and others who have been thrown out of school in Nigeria consequent upon lack of funds.

“Also, millions of Nigeria youths have been directly or indirectly pushed into armed robbery, banditry and thuggery by bad leadership from certain political actors in Nigeria and it is obviously that their futures are at stake not Chief Dan Ulasi

Igboayaka reminded the PDP Chieftain that the presidential victory of Obi would not be determined by mere political analysis, pointing out that Obi’s victory in 2023 presidential election would be predicated upon some political providence of Socio-political and ballot revolution.
