Eleven Senators of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the Senate have defected to the opposition All Progressive Congress APC.
The defection happened less than 3 hours after the PDP leadership ruled out the possibility of automatic ticket as incentive for its members at the National Assembly.
The party national chairman Mr. Adamu Muazu who earlier met with members of the party in the House of Representatives alongside some PDP governors had turned down suggestions by the Majority Leader, Rep. Molikat Adeolu for automatic ticket as incentive to defecting members.
