Wanted List: 15th Boko Haram Prime Suspect Arrested In Yola

By Tom Garba, Yola – The Adamawa Immigration command has arrested a man identified as the “15th person” on the wanted list of Boko Haram published by the Federal Government.WANTED-LIST

The State Commandant, Ubi Inpki, would not give detail information on this.

He would neither give the name and where the suspect was arrested as according to him his men are still working to apprehend other suspects.

Mr. Inpki who spoke to our correspondent in Yola shortly after the official visit of the command to Malkohi IDP camp hinted that the insurgent is already with security agent.

He added that the visit to the camp is in fulfillment of a promised made to the IDPs.

Earlier, the Command through the Nigeria immigration service Comptroller General had pledged to give 10 sewing machine to the IDPS in Malkohi.

“Our gesture is predicated on the fact that you can’t give a man fish to eat, but you have to teach him how to fish.”

Mr. Inpki noted that the command has a big role to play by being “our brothers keepers”, adding that the IDPs who were forceful ejected from their original homes need to be catered for.

According to him, the command extended the kind gesture to the IDP to relieve them of the pains they will go through if they eventually go back to their original places of abode.

He further said that the state command is known to be fighting illegal immigrants in the country, saying further that this new year it would intensify the job of manning the country’s borders against illegal immigrant.
