Resident doctors in the University College Hospital,Ibadan  yesterday suspended its two months old strike just as it all accused the Federal Government of short-changing the hospital authorities to the tune of N100million since January this year.

The doctors while explaining the shortfall said the newly-introduced system of payment by the government was responsible for the shortage.

According to the doctors in a statement, the system of payment, “had resulted in serious blunder which made the government mistake doctors for cleaners and other people doing menial jobs in the teaching hospital.”
