Troops Arrest Boko Haram Cameraman, 3 Others

The military authorities on Monday said it arrested a Boko Haram sect photographer in a community in Adamawa state.

The man, whose full identity is yet unknown was arrested alongside other insurgent members as they tried to escape in an SUV jeep.

The Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade, said four of the terrorists, who tried to escape in an SUV jeep were apprehended including the man who specialises in taking photograph and shooting videos of insurgent’s activities.

They were arrested  during a military patrol operations aimed at combing locations and tracking fleeing terrorists.

The Nigerian troops continue to launch offensive against terrorists in North-Eastern and have recorded huge successes in recent time.

Olukolade said the arrested terrorists are being kept at a military location and are helping ongoing investigations.
