The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has pleaded with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, urging for his forgiveness and active involvement in party.
Speaking while formally receiving the former Governor of Ogun state, Mr. Gbenga Daniel and others, back to the party at its national secretariat, Wednesday in Abuja, the PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, apologized to Obasanjo, saying the party stalwarts were seeking his forgiveness, as well as requesting him to lead it (PDP) to victory in coming general elections.
“We have to beg Obasanjo and seek for his forgiveness… He is prayerful and we should ask him to forgive us.,” Mu’azu said.
Mu’ azu noted that the PDP members were Obasanjo’s followers therefore, pledged they were all “good boys and girls,”
