The meeting was attended by both Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and Senator Ahmed Makarfi.

Both the Wadata Plaza National Headquarters of the party and the Legacy House will be shut for one week.

According to a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole, Arase sued for peace among the stakeholders of the party at the meeting held at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, and which was also attended by the Director General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Musa Daura.

Kolawole said each of the two factions to the crisis agreed to nominate four representatives each for peace talks to arrive at a harmonized position within one week, adding that while the process is on, the PDP Secretariat at Wadata House Plaza and Legacy House should be under lock and key pending the outcome of the resolution.
