EFCC Grills Former Benue Governor, Gabriel Suswan

Suswan who served as the Governor of Benue state between 2007 and May 2015, is being interrogated at the EFCC office in Abuja following his arrest.

Last Friday, the anti-graft Commission had grilled Suswan’s Commissioner for Finance, Omadachi Oklobia as part of investigations into the alleged diversion of state fund, abuse of office, embezzlement and fraud during his tenure.

The anti-graft agency had invited Oklobia, who served under Mr. Gabriel Suswam, a former Benue State governor, to defend the allegations of diversion of public funds, abuse of office, embezzlement and fraud while he was in office.

The spokesman of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed that the former governor was being interrogated by the Commission.
