President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Ahmed Lawan Kuru as new Managing Director of the Corporation to replace Mustafa Chike-Obi.
Kuru’s appointment followed the dissolution of the management team of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON.
Three executive directors namely: Kola Ayeye, Eberechukwu Uneze and Aminu Ismail were also appointed as the executive management team of the corporation.
Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President, Mr. Femi Adesina, said the appointments take effect Tuesday, August 18.
Until his appointment, Kuru was the Group Managing Director of Enterprise Bank Limited.
