Buhari Appoints Moji Adeyeye NAFDAC Director-General

By Nuel Suji – President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment Prof. Moji Adeyeye as the new Director-General DG of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

A statement by Assistant Director (Press), in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Mohammed Nakorji, said Prof. Adeyeye’s appointment takes effect from Friday, November 3, 2017, and is for the initial term of five years.

“Moji Christiana Adeyeye is a seasoned Pharmacist with a proven track record of accomplishments in Nigeria and abroad,” the statement added.

Adeyeye is a Professor of Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing Science and Drug Product Evaluation, College of Pharmacy, Roosevelt University, USA.

Prof. Moji Adeyeye is the wife of the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Olusola Adeyeye, APC Osun State.
