Breaking: Police Foils Another Explosion Plot In Jos, Suspect Arrested

Less than 24 hours after the deadly twin bomb blasts rocked the city of Jos, Plateau capital leaving over 118 dead and scores injured, the Police, today averted what would have been another fatal explosion in busy Tundun-wada area of Jos Wednesday.

Security sources authoritatively told NewsInvestigators , that a man who spoke in Hausa was  overheard when he boasted that what happened in Terminus (Tuesday twin blasts) was a child’s play compare to what will befall the people in Tundun Wada.

“The fellow that heard him quickly alerted the security agencies who promptly arrested the man. After threatening him, the man agreed and pleaded that he was prepared to lead the team to the location of the Improvised Explosive Device (IED),” the sources said.

The sources added that the police anti-bomb experts have been drafted in to deactivate the explosives, adding that the area is still being combed for more possible device.

Plateau Police Commissioner, Chris Olakpe could not be reached for comment as his telephone was not receptive to our calls.
