BREAKING: Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter Crashes South Of Bama, Army Rule Out Enemy Action

The Defence authorities have confirmed that a Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter on a training mission this afternoon at a location South of Bama.

Bama and it’s environs are considered black spots where the Boko Haram insurgents had launched successful attacks in recent time.

Only recently, the military barrack in Barack in Bama also came under attacks by the insurgents.

The cause of the air crash is not immediately known, however, the Army said the crash was due to technical fault.

According to the Defence Headquarters, “investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the accident.  Meanwhile, it is established that the crash is not as a result of any enemy action,” the defence Headquarters said in a statement.

“Further details on the crash will be made known as the investigation progresses,” it added.
