YOLA/By Tom Garba – Adamawa state governor, Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow has condoled with his Osun state counterpart, Rauf Aregbesola over the death of his mother, Saratu Aregbesola.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media Affairs, Martins Dickson, Bindow
Described the death of Mr. Aregbesola’s mother as a loss not only to Osun people but to Nigeria as a whole.
“The death of Alhaja Saratu is not just a lost to the people of Osun state but the whole of Nigeria.
“On behalf of myself and the good of Adamawa state, I wish to condole with Governor Aregbesola, his family, the people of Osun state and Nigeria as a whole,” the statement said.
“May Allah grant her eternal rest in aljannatul firdausi. Amin”.
The remains of the deceased has since been buried in Ilesa, Osun state, Mr. Aregbesola’s hometown in accordance with Islamic rites.
Popularly known as Iya-olobi during her lifetime, late Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola was a renowned business woman.
