As results of the governorship election in Osun state continue to trickle in, results being released by officials at polling centres suggest that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is ahead in key area of Osun states.
Specifically, results from the political constituencies of the major actors in Osun politics are gradually emerging.
For instance, while the incumbent governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola recorded maximum votes in Ilesha local government areas, the governorship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) Senator Iyiola Omisore showed good strength in Ife, his home town.
Similarly, former governor of the Osun state and chieftain of APC, Mr. Isiaka Adelekem delivered Ede twon for the APC by raking in good votes for APC in most of the local government areas of Osun state.
