Another set of female suicide bombers have attacked the Monday Market in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, detonating Improvised Explosive Device and killing no fewer than five persons.
Two female bombers suspected to be members of the Boko Haram insurgents had attacked the same market last week.
Eyewitness said the female bombers concealed the explosives under their Hijab and were making desperate efforts to gain entrance into an hair dressing saloon in the market when some female civilian JTF on duty insisted on searching them.
According to the eyewitness, the suicide bomber blew themselves up when it obvious they were going to be found out.
The Borno State Police Commissioner, Mr Clement Adoda, however, said five people including the two suicide bombers dead in the attack.
He said the victims have been evacuated, and the injured are already receiving treatments.
